At some point this site will offer a trading system. I’ll be direct about what it is, what it isn’t, and why I’m taking the time to build it the way I’m building it.
What exists right now
I have a documented options trading approach that I’ve been developing and refining for several years. It has rules. It has a defined universe of underlyings. It has specific entry and exit criteria. It has position sizing parameters. It is written down.
More importantly, it has a track record. Not a backtested track record against historical data where I can optimize the parameters with the benefit of hindsight. A real track record — live trades, real money, real market conditions across different volatility environments.
Why it isn’t for sale yet
Because it isn’t done.
The track record needs to be longer. The system needs to be tested in more market conditions. And the documentation needs to be clean enough that someone who has never met me can follow it without interpretation.
Most trading systems get sold when the creator figures out that selling the system is more profitable than trading it. That’s a legitimate business model for them. It’s not the model I want.
I want to sell something that I can stand behind completely. Something where I can say: I traded this system with my own capital under real conditions and here are the specific results. Not “past performance doesn’t guarantee future results” as a disclaimer on a promise. A real track record.
What it will be when it’s ready
A straightforward, documented system for trading options with defined risk. Not a course with 40 hours of video. Not a community with a monthly subscription fee. A system with clear rules that a disciplined person can follow.
The underlying philosophy is capital protection first. Every component of the system is built around not losing more than the plan allows before it’s built around making money.
That means the winning percentage isn’t the headline metric. The risk-adjusted return over time is.
When
When it’s ready. Not before. I’d rather it take longer and be right than rush it to market and have it fail in conditions I didn’t anticipate.
If you want to know when it’s available, the best approach is to stay connected to this site. It will be announced here first.
